International Studies Learning Center

International Studies Learning Center opened in 2004 and is a 6-12 grade Los Angeles Unified School District span school. International Studies Learning Center values rigorous academics, excellent college placement, community service, competitive sports, “Council” in schools, and international travel. ISLC is part of the International Studies Schools Network (ISSN) sponsored by the Asia Society through a start-up grant by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. They are proud to be an Early College High School, and their partner, East Los Angeles Community College, offers courses on their campus. ISLC became a Confucius Classroom site in 2013. Their partner school in China is Beijing #13 High School.
