The Spring 2016 series of CSET Preparation Classes: A Workshop Series for Future Mandarin Instructors will take place April 2, 9 and 16 at California State University, Los Angeles. This program prepares aspiring educators to pass the California Subject Examination for Teachers (CSET Sub test I, II and III) in Mandarin, an exam required by the state to become a credentialed 6-12 Mandarin teacher. The CSET in Mandarin tests knowledge of Chinese history, culture, literature, and linguistics. During the workshops, specialists from each of the aforementioned subject areas will teach students key concepts and test-taking strategies.
